Natacha Bisarre grew up in Brussels, Belgium where she took her first steps in Ballet aged four at the Jarret School of Dance, and later The Classical Ballet School under the ISTD syllabus. She moved to London in January 2001 where she took a actors training course at London School of speech and Drama and passed a Grade 3 Guildhall Exam in Character study with Merit. During this time Natacha continued to train herself in Ballet, Street Locking and Commercial dance.
Natacha began her professional training at Middlesex University in September 2001 where she completed her BA Honours in Dance Performance. During her degree studies she was asked to cover teach Ballet Classes for all three year levels of the degree program. Following her Contemporary training, she followed an additional year’s training at London Studio Centre where she focused on intense Ballet training and musical theatre. Before leaving London Studio Centre, in 2005 Natacha was invited to work for Gelede Dance, the resident company at Pegasus theatre in Oxford., for the research and creation of its most recent work Snake in a Geisha Palm.
In 2007 Natacha started working with Jane Turner for the creation of “TROOP” and has continued working alongside her ever since, namely for the creation and touring of her most recent work “HERD”.
Natacha has previously worked with various circus and entertainment companies such as Divine Company and Incandescence working as a fire dancer, ribbon dancer and stilt walker. Recently she has also been working for Emergency Exit Arts and Emergency Exit Fireworks as a pyro-performer on their unique “Human Catherine Wheels”, and various other street performances as a character dancer and choreographer.
Natacha has also worked extensively as a teacher and workshop leader for all levels in Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz, and has been working for James Allen Saturday School of Performing Arts for the past three years as a Contemporary Dance teacher.
Natacha is currently training herself in aerial Performance, namely static Trapeze, Rope, Silks and Hoop.
